5- February

Wow. A month has already come and passed in 2009. I realize I am only 23, but time is really flying faster and faster. I am not trying to be morbid, but before I realize I will be done with this part of life. If one month, even one year can slip by so easily, it really challenges me to think. It can either be a good thing in that I spent the year wisely and can be grateful for what I did with it, or I can look back and think, "Wow, what did I do with this year?"
I mean really, what am I doing with my time?!
Does it have purpose?
I believe my life, thus, the time I have in it, does serve a purpose... But am I fulfilling it? It is designed to have purpose, but I am doing with it what I was designed to do...
I am trying my best. I do have regret, but I also have gratitude in the power God has allowed to me to walk in His design. I am definitely feeling my way through alot of dark times, but His Word is a lamp unto my feet and with it and His voice calling me forward, I will not give up the journey and I will not let it be a waste.

Thank You for grace- my sin erased -You called me as Your son
For I did rebel into the grip of hell- yet You give me what You've won
Life
Yes, a life to live that death will give as I join You in the tomb

4 - January

Whelp, its the beggining of a new year.
well duh bryce...

I just came off the OneThing Conference put on by the International House of Prayer. I am quite quite inspired and challenged to live a consecrated life. I want to burn for God. I want to be set apart and go after the face of God no matter how bad it may hurt.
The conference was focused on the end times specifically from the book of Revelation. I learned alot but more than that, I feel challenged to look up more and find out more for myself. It is not a side-issue compared to knowing Jesus, but rather it IS the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The more I see Jesus as He is, I will undoubtedly fall more in love freeing my thoughts toward other things to fall in the right place.

Father, help me this year to see you as you are, and above all things to seek your face.

3- December

So I am offically done with school this semester for which I am quite grateful. I took 18 credits this past semester as well as taught some guitar lessons. I thank God that He gave me to grace to get through and for allowing me to manage my time much better than I last fall.
I do look forward to NOT commuting for 8ams everyday in Warrensburg. I look forward to a lighter load next semester with 12.5 credits.
During this Christmas break I dont have alot of plans. I will continue to teach guitar lessons.
I also plan on attending -Onething. I strongly recommend you seriously consider trying to make it. This is not a fun festival or concert but a sincere gathering of those interested in making God a priority and not sitting on the sidelines anymore. This will be my 5th Onething conference (i think) and I can honestly say that my life has been strongly affected and has shifted due to the ministry and just plain work of God at the Onething conference.
Please come. It is FREE. You will be stirred. You will not regret going.

2- What you need to know about the FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT

As one of the bill’s co-sponsors, Senator Barack Obama promised the abortion lobby that this will be the first piece of legislation he will sign into law as president of the United States of America.

The Freedom of Choice Act overturns virtually all federal and state pro-life laws. FOCA would also overturn all restrictions on public funding of abortion and require we the taxpayers to pay for elective abortions.

What FOCA does:

* Creates a new federal right to abortion and would repeal the Hyde Amendment allowing unlimited federal funding for abortion.
* Removes all safeguards (“interferences”) currently in place at the state or federal level. These include:
* Full disclosure to the patient (ultrasound images of the unborn child, details about pain inflicted on the baby, any information about long-term complications for the mother)
* Parental notification for minors seeking abortion
* Waiting periods
* Restrictions based on fetal viability allowing for abortion on demand through the ninth month of pregnancy
* Protections for doctors and nurses who refuse to perform or assist in an abortion
* Protections for religiously affiliated hospitals as well as public hospitals that currently do not perform abortions
* Exclusions for abortion coverage from health care plans of federal employees
* Overturns the partial-birth abortion ban, a gruesome late-term procedure involving the forced extraction of the infant from the mother’s womb, insertion of a device to suction the brains from the baby’s skull allowing for the skull to be crushed facilitating its removal from the birth canal.

The majority of Americans support these common-sense protections. The Freedom of Choice Act is extreme even for many who identify themselves as "Pro-Choice."
